I know first-hand the value of a strong, healthy body from personal and professional experiences. I have over ten years of healthcare experience in management and education with most of the time spent as a community educator in a hospital setting, primarily working with patients and their caregivers affected by metabolic health conditions, neuromuscular disorders and cardiovascular disease. I am a certified health coach, personal trainer, group fitness instructor and yoga teacher that holds a graduate degree in Health Education. As a holistic health coach practitioner, I believe health is more than food & exercise, which is why our programs focus on overall wellness. I hep people find the right combination of nutrition, supplements, stress reduction and exercise to help them move toward reaching their optimal health. I have worked with overweight and obese individuals, athletes, active older adults, tweens to teens, pre/post-natal women and individuals with chronic health conditions.
In addition to being part-time adjunct faculty in the Physical Health Education department at Richland College, I am the managing owner of Compliments. I believe how we live, how we move, how we think and how we eat are behaviors that integrate and set the stage for our health and well-being. I am passionate about promoting positive habits that people can incorporate into their lifestyle achieve their optimal level of wellness.
